The 2022 Minnesota Holstein Online Fall Sale took place on November 19, 2022. Eleven individual animals, one load of fresh two-year-olds and three different embryo lots were offered in the third annual online fall sale.
For the first time ever, the Cowbuyer online auction platform was utilized to manage bidding and closing of the sale. Animals were marketed on the MHA Facebook page, MHA website, featured in membership emails and listed on the Cowbuyer site.
The sale grossed over $10,000 across the seven lots that sold. The sale was managed by the Minnesota Holstein Association and sale committee Nathan Donnay, Eric Houdek, Trevor Ekkel and Tracy Schaefer. Sale highlights are outlined below:
