Nelson Hired As MHA Business Manager

The Minnesota Holstein Association is excited to welcome Megan Nelson as our new Business Manager. Megan was raised on a dairy farm in SE Minnesota and has a degree in Ag Marketing from the University of Minnesota. She brings experience to the business manager role with over 15 years of assisting many MN Farm Bureau counties with their bookkeeping. She is a former agricultural education instructor and also spent several years teaching preschool & early childhood family education before stepping out of the classroom to homeschool her children.

Megan lives near Glencoe with her husband, Erik, and their four children where they raise too many chickens and a handful of 4-H pigs. Her family continues to be active in the dairy industry through the 4-H Lease program.  Megan is also a 4-H leader, teaches preschool classes at the local homeschool coop, and spends most of her free time driving and cheering her kids on at their many activities. She also enjoys camping, working in the flower fields at Milkhouse Flowers, and playing board games/puzzles.

Megan is excited to take on the Business Manager role with Minnesota Holstein. She can be reached by email at minnesotaholstein@gmail.com or by phone at 320-259-0637.
