The 2023 Minnesota Holstein Online Spring Sale took place on April 22, 2023. Twenty four individual animals and three different embryo lots were offered during the spring sale.
The Cowbuyer online auction platform was utilized to manage bidding and closing of the sale. Animals were marketed on the MHA Facebook page, MHA website, featured in membership emails and listed on the Cowbuyer site.
The sale grossed over $30,000 across the seventeen lots that sold. The sale was managed by the Minnesota Holstein Association and sale committee Nathan Donnay, Trevor Ekkel, Tracy Schaefer, Tony Kohls, and Lucas Plamann. Sale highlights are outlined below:
